This week's theme over at iheartfaces is "Slice of Life." In other words, a photo captured spontaneously, just to record the moment- nothing posed, nothing planned.
This was captured over the summer on a family vacation to NY. We were hiking through Watkin's Glen, and apparently the hike up nearly 400 feet and I forget how many steps (but a LOT) was more than my eldest could handle. So as mommy stopped to take "just one more picture", he snuck off and found a quiet alcove to rest in. He never heard me sneak up and take this picture. I wonder what he was day dreaming about?
That little resting spot looks so relaxing! I've never been to NY...but that hike sounds like a lot of fun! Great shot! Also--just became your newest follower!
