Here's a recent shoot with four of the most attractive kids I know ;-).

Normally, this would't make my "best of", but it captures this phase where this is the closest they will willingly stand to each other in a picture.   The teen years.

Okay, I promise I'm still taking pictures.  I'm just not great at self-promotion via this blog obviously.  I hadn't realized how long it had been since I'd posted here.  Here's are a few highlights a recent shoot.

  
Okay, not really a "paid" gig as much as a "pay back" sort of gig.  My girls both take aerial silk, and this is their teacher.  We LOVE her, and she invests so much in them, I wanted to pay her back a bit with a few photos.

Here's just a few pictures of the recital students. There were 30 of them, and some played multiple instruments. It was a 2 day shoot- dress rehearsal one day, performance the following week.

Tavares Area Photographer- L's Birthday Party

Not too long ago, I had the chance to photograph a birthday party that was just over the top! Seriously, I think the mom is going to start a business doing themed parties.  This was Alice in Wonderland, and she had thought of EVERYTHING (she even had the "photo booth" props). It was such a fun party, and I know the kids who attended won't soon forget it.

Luminescense 2012

I had the chance over the holidays to photograph the guys from Edge Effect and the aerialist from Metropolis Productions in their show called Luminescense at the Gaylord Palms. What an amazing production (and it's totally FREE). This wasn't a commissioned gig, but one done out of appreciation for all the aerialist, who is my daughter's aerial silk teacher, does for my daughter. As a bonus though, the guys really liked the photos and used them on their FB page :-).
